Cusina Means Kitchen
Owning a food truck had been a long-time ambition of Chef Kevin Cortez, the owner and head chef of Kevin's Cusina. His appreciation for Filipino cuisine took root as a child when he lived in the Philippines. As he grew up, his passion for cooking became evident and he learned to cook various dishes from different cultural backgrounds. The food truck culture's tendency to mix and match different cuisines especially resonated within Kevin as it provides an opportunity for him to bring all his influences together to create new and exciting flavors to the streets of Calgary.
